The Bottom Line: The Enermax Platimax 1350W power supply is meant for high-end computing users who just want spectacular performance without having to fuss with anything extra.

The Enermax Platimax 1350W is the largest capacity power supply that we have seen from Enermax in its Platimax line. In fact, it is also the largest capacity 80 Plus Platinum rated power supply we have seen to date. With that in mind, we immediately turn to the unit’s efficiency which, while missing 80 Plus Platinum by less than 1% in our testing, it was generally excellent. The voltage regulation was also very good, though not the best we have seen among 1350W products, and the DC Output quality was outstanding. The Platimax 1350W looked like it might be a step down in the build quality due to the fan substitution we had today, but in the end that fan seemed to work better and this coupled with the other components, as well as excellent integration, make this Platimax 1350W an outstandingly well built unit.

Enermax came to me with an 80 Plus Platinum version of the awesome high power platform I've seen twice before now, and once again it hasn't failed to disappoint. Right now, for applications requiring extreme power output, I just don't think it gets any better.
