The width of this case for cables and a heatsink make it worth the price. As I peer inside the window and see that NH-D14. Yup, it’s pretty far back from the window. You will have enough room for a jumbo heatsink, and that seems to be the point of this case at that price point.

Final Thoughts

The Enermax Coenus is a great case to review and I had a great deal of fun with it. This case offers several nice features for the $55 dollar price point, including excellent cable management with plenty of tie down points and routing points. If you’re on a tight budget, then the Coenus is definitely a case you need to consider. It’s great to see that longer high-end GPUs have no problem fitting into the Coenus, and the fact that two can fit with room to breath is an extra boon. The hidden SSD mount was a great addition for anyone removing the top HDD rack.

The Bottom Line

Surviving our enthusiast testing process isn't a chore to be taken lightly. Every case that comes through the HardOCP labs is thoroughly examined, pushed to the limit, and tested in ways that we feel gives you an accurate assessment of the product's ability to perform in the manner you would use it at home.

The Enermax Coenus is currently priced at $69.99 on Amazon and comes with FREE shipping. Overall, the Enermax Coenus is a good deal for the sub-$70 cost. While water cooling aficionados and hardware enthusiasts may have to put in a little extra effort to make this case suit their needs, the Enermax Coenus would be a great case for anyone looking to build a solid system on a budget. And yes, someone needs to mod one of these with an Iron Man paint scheme!

I find that the Enermax Coenus fits the needs of any enthusiast on a tight budget. It's well designed and constructed and the fit and finish is well above par for it's price.
Many enthusiasts would get a long life with the Coenus' features and flexibility. A few more options and features would easily elevate it's value over the $100 mark!
